Report: Liverpool linked with Rui Patricio

Liverpool are closing in on an £11m deal for Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio, according to reports.

The 27-year-old Portuguese international came through the youth set-up at the Estadio Jose Alvalade, making his debut in 2006.

He has gone on to make over 200 appearances for the club but is being tipped for a move away this summer, with Liverpool readying a bid, reports A Bola.

Rui Patrico, who has 36 caps for his country, was Sporting's Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012.
