Lazio have reportedly ended talks with Liverpool striker Fabio Borini

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a switch to the Rome club, following a lack of playing time at Anfield.

A fee between Lazio and Liverpool was thought to have been agreed upon, but according to Il Messaggero, the transfer has fallen apart due to a disagreement over Borini's wage demands.

Borini scored one goal for Liverpool in the Premier League last season.
