Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Watford winger Ismaila Sarr this summer, with the Senegal international expected to leave the club.

Newcastle United are planning to sign Watford winger Ismaila Sarr in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to a report.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Vicarage Road after this season, regardless of whether or not the club avoids relegation, with Liverpool interested in him.

However, they are not the only club keeping tabs on the Senegal international, as the Magpies are also hoping to secure his signature for £35m, as reported by The Sun.

Sarr's agent has recently hinted that he is looking to leave Watford after this campaign ends, even though he has still got two years remaining on his contract.

The winger originally joined the Hornets in 2019 for a club-record fee of £30m from Rennes, and since that point, he has been a regular within the starting lineup.

This season Sarr has only featured in 16 of their 29 Premier League fixtures due to injury problems, but he has still managed to score five goals.
