Liverpool youngster Sam Hart joins Port Vale on loan

Liverpool youngster Sam Hart has joined Port Vale on a season-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old is yet to make his competitive debut for Liverpool, but did feature for the senior team during the pre-season friendly against Mainz 05 earlier this month.

The left-back spent the majority of last season with the club's Under-23 side, becoming a regular member of the starting XI.

Hart becomes Vale's 15th signing of the summer, with the deal being subject to EFL clearance.

The defender will wear the number 46 shirt at Vale Park.
