Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Thorgan Hazard in January, according to a report.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly keen to sign Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Thorgan Hazard when the January transfer window opens for business.

The Belgium international, who is the brother of Chelsea's Eden Hazard, has scored 12 times and registered seven assists in 19 appearances for Gladbach this season.

The 25-year-old's contract with Gladbach will expire in June 2020, however, and according to the Daily Star, Liverpool will launch a £31m bid at the start of 2019.

The report, though, claims that Klopp is prepared to loan Hazard back to Gladbach for the remainder of this season.

Hazard joined Chelsea from Lens in 2012 but did not make a single first-team appearance for the Premier League club before switching to Gladbach.
