Liverpool to move for Lorenzo Pellegrini?

Liverpool are reportedly planning a summer swoop for Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Italian source Corriere dello Sport says that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the 21-year-old's abilities and is planning a move for the player at the end of the season.

The source also says that Klopp is wary of losing Emre Can as a free agent and wants to bolster his options should the German, out of contract at the end of the season, leave Anfield.

Pellegrini has made 17 starts in Serie A this term, netting three times, while also making four appearances in the Champions League.

The Italian, under contract until 2021, has a release clause of £28m in his deal.
