Liverpool could sell Daniel Agger to raise funds for other players

Liverpool could sell Daniel Agger if they receive an offer that meets their valuation, according to reports.

According to Sky Sports News, Brendan Rodgers needs to sell players in order to raise funds for new players and selling Agger is thought to be under consideration.

Manchester City have had two bids rejected for Agger, but they could be encouraged to bid for a third time for the Danish international.

Rodgers is now believed to be putting together a shortlist of possible replacements.
