Liverpool lead Andre Dozzell race?

Liverpool have reportedly been installed as the frontrunners to sign Ipswich Town youngster Andre Dozzell.

The midfielder, who does not turn 17 until next month, is yet to turn out for Ipswich's first team.

Nevertheless, his performances for the Championship club's youth side this term are believed to have captured the attention of a number of clubs, including Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.

However, it is the Merseysiders that are currently at the head of the queue to secure Dozzell's services, according to The Mirror.

Dozzell is the son of former Ipswich and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jason.
