Liverpool join Dede chase

Liverpool are thought to have joined the chase to sign Brazilian defender Dede.

The Vasco da Gama centre-back is also being tracked by Premier League rivals Manchester United.

Kenny Dalglish recently had the 23-year-old scouted when Vasco played Allianza Lima, according to the Daily Mail.

Dede could cost the Merseysiders up to £15m if they are to make a serious offer for the twice-capped international.
