Liverpool are in pole position to sign Wycombe Wanderers youngster Jordan Ibe, according to Sky Sports News.

The promising striker has attracted the attention of numerous Premier League clubs, including Manchester rivals City and United.

However, Liverpool are thought to be in pole position to secure his services after he trained with the Reds last summer.

Ibe announced himself with a goal in his first professional start against Sheffield Wednesday in October.
