Liverpool considering future move for Rennes youngster Jeremy Doku?

Rennes winger Jeremy Doku has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Liverpool.

The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the top prospects in Europe, with his early form at Anderlecht earning him a switch to Rennes last month.

As well as already making nine appearances for the French outfit, the teenager has earned five caps with the Belgium senior squad.

According to HLN, Doku's progress in recent months has led to interest from Premier League champions Liverpool.

The Merseyside giants are said to be contemplating an offer for the youngster in 2021, providing that he continues on his current trajectory.

Rennes paid in the region of £23m for Doku, meaning that Liverpool would need to pay well in excess of that figure to tempt his current club into a sale.
