Liverpool, Arsenal in race for Jan Oblak?

Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly expected to battle for the signature of Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

The two clubs are in need of new long-term recruits between the sticks, and according to Spanish publication AS, Slovenian international Oblak has emerged as a target in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old has impressed for Diego Simeone's side this term, making 35 appearances in all competitions including two Man of the Match performances in La Liga.

The source adds, however, that Liverpool and Arsenal will have to pay Oblak's €100m (£88m) release clause to have any chance of bringing the goalkeeper to England.

The Reds have also been linked with Roma's shot-stopper Alisson Becker.
