Jurgen Klopp is not concerned about rumours regarding Mohamed Salah's future, brushing off any talk of the matter in his pre-match press conference on Friday.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has talked down any fears of potentially losing Mohamed Salah in the January transfer window.

Salah was reportedly subjected to heavy interest from the Saudi Pro League in the final weeks of the summer window, but a move never materialised.

During the British deadline day, Al-Ittihad are believed to have come in with a bid as high as £150m.

Liverpool rejected the offer, insisting that they had no interest in selling the Egyptian winger this summer.

Despite the Saudi transfer window staying open for another week afterwards, no other bids would come in for Salah from any club in the Pro League.

Klopp quickly shut down any questions regarding the matter, stating that it is of no concern to him at this moment in time.

In his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon ahead of Liverpool's clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, when quizzed about the matter, Klopp said: "You are kidding me, yeah? A week after we close the transfer window, you ask about the January transfer window?

"Obviously, you can't wait until December to ask these questions. We will see what happens. Until then, I'm not worried in this moment. I didn't even think about it until you opened that wound again. No, I'm not worried."

The Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo has said that the door is not closed on a deal for Salah, meaning that another bid is likely when the window reopens in January.

In the press conference, Klopp also spoke about one of his players who did make the move to Saudi Arabia, Jordan Henderson.

Henderson came out and stated he felt unwanted at Liverpool before choosing to join Al Ettifaq, claiming nobody spoke to him to persuade him to stay.

Klopp responded by admitting that Henderson "told the truth in all departments", while confirming that his place was under threat.

"We had our talks. I told Hendo I wanted him to stay but I had to talk in these conversations about the possibility of him not playing regularly."

Liverpool would eventually allow Henderson to leave, while bringing in Ryan Gravenberch and Wataru Endo late in the window to fill the gap left by the outgoing captain.
