Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen wanted by three Premier League clubs?

Southampton, Stoke City and Leicester City are reportedly considering January moves for Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen.

Three Premier League clubs are reportedly considering January bids for Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen.

The Wales international has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team since his £15m arrival from Swansea City in 2012.

According to the Daily Star, Southampton, Stoke City and Leicester City are all pondering moves for Allen, who could be allowed to leave in the winter transfer window.

The report adds that new manager Jurgen Klopp does not see Allen having a major role in the team and would be willing to cut ties with the midfielder.

The Welshman has scored two goals in 75 Premier League appearances.
