Inter Milan to offer Nemanja Vidic to Liverpool for Lucas Leiva?

Inter Milan will reportedly try to convince Liverpool to sell Lucas Leiva this month by offering Nemanja Vidic in the deal.

The defender joined the Serie A side last summer from Manchester United, but the Serbian has struggled for regular first-team football in Italy.

Now it has emerged that the 33-year-old, who spent eight years at Old Trafford, could return to the Premier League this month, but to United's arch-rivals Liverpool.

According to Calciomercato, Inter are keen to sign the Reds' Lucas, but are willing to include Vidic in the deal.

Lucas has fought his way back into Liverpool's starting lineup in recent weeks.
