Borussia Dortmund lining up bid for Valencia winger Ferran Torres?

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly preparing to up their interest in Valencia winger Ferran Torres.

While the Spaniard has emerged as a key man at the Mestalla, the 20-year-old has just over a year remaining on his contract.

With the youngster said to have little interest in penning fresh terms, a number of top European clubs have been linked with the playmaker.

According to Bild, Dortmund will attempt to steal a march on their rivals by launching a bid of €40m (£35.14m) ahead of the next transfer window.

The Bundesliga giants may view Torres as a like-for-like replacement for Jadon Sancho, who is being tipped to leave the Westfalenstadion in a £100m deal.

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to hold an interest in Torres.
