Christian Benteke heading for Liverpool exit?

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will reportedly look to sell £32.5m signing Christian Benteke at the end of the season.

Jurgen Klopp has reportedly decided that Christian Benteke does not have a long-term future at Liverpool.

The Belgian striker arrived at Anfield under the previous regime of Brendan Rodgers last summer in a deal worth £32.5m from Aston Villa.

Benteke was a regular prior to the departure of Rodgers in October, but he has struggled for game-time since Klopp was appointed.

He has started just five matches in 2016 and has been an unused substitute in the last three.

According to The Sun, Klopp has already come to the conclusion that the 25-year-old's playing style does not marry up with his tactics.

The report adds that goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Adam Bogdan may also leave, while defender Jon Flanagan has been promised a new contract.
