Barcelona 'to allow Ousmane Dembele to leave on loan'

Barcelona are reportedly willing to let Ousmane Dembele leave the club on loan this summer amid speculation that Champions League finalists Liverpool are interested.

Barcelona are reportedly willing to send Ousmane Dembele out on loan next season amid speculation that he is wanted by Liverpool.

Dembele missed a large chunk of his debut season at Camp Nou through injury, limiting him to just 11 La Liga starts following his £100m move from Borussia Dortmund.

Sky Sports News now reports that Barca are prepared to loan the France international out for part of next season in a bid to regain his form, with Liverpool understood to be at the front of the queue.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp laughed off reports that the club were in the market for Dembele, but jokingly suggested that he would be interested if the 21-year-old became available.

The Reds have already completed a deal to bring Naby Keita to the club this summer, while Lyon attacker Nabil Fekir is thought to be on the verge of becoming their second signing of the transfer window.
