Andre Wisdom leaves Liverpool on loan for Red Bull Salzburg

Liverpool announce that defender Andre Wisdom has joined Red Bull Salzburg on a season-long loan.

Liverpool have announced that Andre Wisdom has joined Red Bull Salzburg on a season-long loan deal.

The 23-year-old came through the ranks at Anfield, but has spent the last three years on loan with Derby County, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City respectively.

Wisdom will now spend a fourth season away from the club on a temporary basis, joining Austrian Bundesliga champions Red Bull Salzburg.

The England Under-21 international, who played 14 times at Norwich as they were relegated from the Premier League last season, could feature for his new club against Admira on Sunday.

Wisdom has made just 22 appearances for the Liverpool first team since his debut in 2012.
