Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold admits that he would like to see "special" Jadon Sancho move to Anfield from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Liverpool full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has said that Jadon Sancho would make Jurgen Klopp's team better if he were to join the club from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Sancho has been widely tipped to leave the Westfalenstadion when the transfer window reopens, with a who's who of Europe's biggest clubs understood to be interested in the 20-year-old.

Dortmund's asking price of at least £100m is likely to rule most clubs - including Liverpool - out of the race, but Alexander-Arnold admits that he would like to see his "special" England teammate at Anfield.

When asked during an Instagram Live Q&A whether he would like Sancho at Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold said: "To us? Listen, Sancho is sick so if he came to us he would make our team better.

"So, I'd be more than happy for him to come because I have played with him at England. He's a special, special, special, special talent."

Sancho, who has directly contributed to 30 goals in just 23 Bundesliga appearances this season, has been most heavily linked with a move to Liverpool's biggest rivals Manchester United this summer.
