Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: 'All focus on Crystal Palace match'

Jurgen Klopp says that Liverpool will not lower their intensity or concentration levels against Crystal Palace, which comes four days before a huge clash with Man City.

Jurgen Klopp has insisted that Liverpool's meeting with Crystal Palace this weekend is no less important than the Champions League quarter-final against Manchester City.

The Reds take on Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday lunchtime, four days before welcoming Man City to Anfield for the first leg of their last-eight European showdown.

Victory for Liverpool in South London will lift them up to second place in the Premier League and put them in a strong position to finish in the top four, with Klopp acknowledging the importance of picking up all three points.

"We'll play Palace with all we have," he told reporters at his pre-match presser. "All our intensity, concentration. For a manager of Liverpool the whole season is about at least qualification for the Champions League.

"One [game] is about qualification for next year and one is about this year. They have the same importance. There is no difference for us."

Liverpool thrashed Watford 5-0 in their most recent outing, making it just one defeat in their last nine outings overall.
