Adam Lallana will start Liverpool's friendly with Tranmere Rovers, while new signings Naby Keita and Fabinho are also included from the off.

Adam Lallana has overcome a fitness bug in time to start Liverpool's pre-season friendly with Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park.

The 30-year-old was absent for the Reds' opening summer friendly - a 7-0 win at non-league Chester FC on Saturday - but he is among the starters for this evening's short four-mile trip.

New signings Naby Keita and Fabinho also line up together for the first time, having played 45 minutes each at the Deva Stadium three days ago.

Jurgen Klopp has once again named two separate lineups, with a full 11 changes to be made at the interval, meaning that every outfield member will get some minutes under their belts.

New signing Jonny Smith is included in Tranmere's squad, meanwhile, as well as trialists Harvey Gilmour, Kai Tonga, Amadou Soukouna and Zoumana Bakayogo.

Tranmere Rovers: Davies, McNulty, Monthe, Cole, Banks, Mullin, Jennings, Caprice, Ellis, Harris, Norwood
Subs: Pilling, Tollitt, Soukouna, Bakayogo, Norburn, Smith, Sutton, Spellman, Gilmour, Tonga, Devine

Liverpool first-half XI: Ward, Camacho, Phillips, Klavan, Robertson, Fabinho, Keita, Lallana, Kent, Ojo, Solanke
Liverpool second-half XI: Karius, Clyne, Gomez, Chirivella, Moreno, Milner, Woodburn, Jones, Wilson, Origi, Sturridge
