How Liverpool could line up against Crystal Palace

Jurgen Klopp must make some enforced changes to his Liverpool starting lineup when Crystal Palace make the journey to Anfield for Monday's Premier League clash.

Thiago Alcantara could be out for up to six weeks with the hamstring injury that he picked up against Fulham last weekend, while Joel Matip missed training earlier this week with a groin issue.

Curtis Jones, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Diogo Jota, Caoimhin Kelleher and Ibrahima Konate are also absent for Liverpool, who should at least have Kostas Tsimikas and Naby Keita back.

With Matip and Konate watching on from the sidelines, the Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez partnership should be reignited in front of Alisson Becker.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will start out wide as ever, and Klopp has a key decision to make in the middle of the park amid his side's injury woes.

Fabinho and Jordan Henderson are seemingly nailed on to start, and Keita may be given the nod alongside them following his return from illness, leaving Harvey Elliott and James Milner on the bench.

Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz's spots out wide are safe, and Darwin Nunez has surely done enough to earn his first Premier League start in place of Roberto Firmino.

Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Fabinho, Keita; Salah, Nunez, Diaz
