Toronto FC goalkeeper Stefan Frei will spend a week training with Premier League side Liverpool, the Canadian club have confirmed.
The 25-year-old will fly to England later this week before taking part in a number of sessions with Kenny Dalglish's squad.
Frei's manager Aron Winter believes that the Swiss keeper will benefit from the opportunity.
"This is a great opportunity for Stefan and we were happy to give him permission to train with a historic club like Liverpool," Winter told the club's official website.
"He has emerged as one of the top keepers in the league since the start of his career and has certainly earned this special opportunity."
Frei has never represented Switzerland at international level.
