Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has praised Steven Gerrard for his leadership abilities.
The France international, who joined the Reds from Paris Saint-Germain for around £15m in the summer, told The Telegraph about the impact that the skipper has on his Liverpool teammates.
"He is a massive player for this club with huge charisma," said Sakho.
"In the dressing room he will tell us stories or it might when we are away, at the table having dinner he will recount these different stories that are all very, very positive."
The Reds were beaten 2-1 by Chelsea this afternoon.
