Liverpool to trial reality tv winner

The winner of a Turkish reality television show will have the chance to be taken on trial with Liverpool.

Soccer Prince will allow the triumphant contestant to sign a one-year development deal with the Premier League side.

"What we are providing is that once-in-a-lifetime chance to play for Liverpool," Managing Director Ian Ayre told the Liverpool Echo.

"People love us because of football and it lets people in other countries see the power of Liverpool Football Club.

"The key for us is that it is all over different parts of the world and gives thousands of kids a chance."

The Reds host Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.
