Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has reportedly been ruled out for a month with a thigh injury.

The 26-year-old suffered the problem during his side's 2-2 draw with Leicester City on New Year's Day.

The England international could now be sidelined until the start of February, according to widespread reports.

Lallana has scored four goals in 21 games for the Reds following his £25m summer move from Southampton.

Liverpool return to action tonight when they travel to AFC Wimbledon in the third round of the FA Cup.
