Jordan Henderson plays down Liverpool win

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson has played down the team's 3-0 win at Manchester United on Sunday by claiming that it was "just another game".

The Merseysiders moved to within four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea as they brushed aside their bitter rivals at Old Trafford.

Despite admitting that it was a "big win", Henderson insists that he and his teammates are now focusing on their next match against Cardiff City.

"It was a big win but it was just another game for us really," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We went there trying to do the same thing, put on a good performance, get three points and thankfully we did that so we can move on to the next performance and hopefully win that."

Liverpool make the trip to Cardiff in the league on Saturday.
