Liverpool are reportedly considering appointing former manager Kenny Dalglish as an ambassador at the club.
The 61-year-old Anfield legend took charge of the Reds for a second time in January 2011, but he was dismissed at the end of last season.
Liverpool's owners, Fenway Sports Group, are now ready to welcome the Scot back in order to strengthen the club's image around the world, according to The Mirror.
Dalglish won a number of honours, including nine league titles and three European Cups, as both a player and manager during a 15-year association with the Merseysiders.
