Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish claims that he still enjoys the job a year after his return to Anfield.

Kenny Dalglish has claimed that he is lucky to be Liverpool manager and says he is still happy that he returned to the club.

The Anfield legend took over from Roy Hodgson last year and despite experiencing a tough season, Dalglish is still happy to be in charge.

Dalglish said: "When I came in, I said it's an honour to come back to Liverpool and I'm a lucky guy to be asked back, and those two things still apply for me now, one year on.

"If everybody sticks to their profession then they have more chance of succeeding, and that's what I have done. I wouldn't say it has been easy, but it has been enjoyable - I don't look too unhappy, do I?"

Liverpool will face Manchester City in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.
