Non-league striker Daniel Carr is given a starting role for Liverpool's development side against West Ham United.

Trialist Daniel Carr has been included in the Liverpool development side's starting lineup for this afternoon's encounter against West Ham United.

The 18-year-old was given the chance to impress manager Brendan Rodgers when he was invited to train with the Liverpool squad last Tuesday.

His performances in training have resulted in him being named in the team to take on the Hammers today, where he will wear the number nine shirt.

Carr, who currently plays for non-league outfit Dulwich Hamlet, has scored 23 goals from as many outings this season.

He has also been linked with a host of other clubs, including European champions Chelsea.
