Adam Bogdan targets number one spot at Liverpool

Bogdan wants Liverpool number one spot

Adam Bogdan has stated that he is looking to challenge Simon Mignolet to be Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper.

The Hungarian has brought his eight-year spell with Bolton Wanderers to an end by joining the Reds on a free transfer.

Bogdan says that he wants to make the most of his transfer to Anfield.

"I would like to take this opportunity and play as many games as I possibly can, and be a number one 'keeper for Liverpool," Bogdan told the club's official website.

"How do I do that? I have to do it on the training ground first of all, I have to prove myself and prove to the manager that I'm able to do that. Then when I get the chance, I have to take it and play well. That's how it works."

Bogdan made 120 appearances for Bolton.
