Borussia Dortmund have recorded a 3-2 victory over Liverpool in Friday's pre-season friendly in Indiana.
Paco Alcacer opened the scoring for Dortmund in the third minute, only for Harry Wilson to find an equaliser for Liverpool before the break.
Rhian Brewster netted from the penalty spot after Thomas Delaney and Jacob Bruun Larsen had earlier put Dortmund in control, but Liverpool were unable to find a third during the closing stages.

3.06amThe full-time whistle goes in Indiana and Dortmund have held on to register a 3-2 victory over Liverpool. The Premier League side probably deserved a share of the spoils, although they were may to pay for some poor defending.
FULL TIME:
SHOT!
90+3 minLiverpool nearly find a late equaliser through Robertson, who turns before firing a volley wide of the far post.
90+2 minLiverpool are still working hard, but they are having to do as much defending as attacking. Dortmund have finished this match strongly.
90 minThere are going to be three minutes of added-on time.
87 minThere are no signs of Dortmund attempting to shut up shop. They think that they can add a fourth and why shouldn't they? Liverpool are leaving more space at the back.
YELLOW CARD!
84 minBrewster is a tad fortunate to only pick up a yellow here. He flies in aggressively when attempting to beat Hazard to the ball, but only makes contact with the man.
82 minAt least four Liverpool players attempt to win the ball back off Dortmund in their own final third, but the German side do superbly to get themselves out of trouble.
80 minWe are back underway and Liverpool have gone straight onto the offensive. Klopp senses that his side still have a shot at winning this match, never mind securing a draw.
77 minIt's time for another water break. It has probably come at the right time for Dortmund.
GOAL!
75 minWhat a penalty this is! Brewster steps up confidently to power the ball into the top corner. That felt like a massive statement made to Klopp.
GOAL!
75 minBORUSSIA DORTMUND 3-2 LIVERPOOL (RHIAN BREWSTER)
PENALTY!
74 minCould we have game on here? Lewis and Brewster both do well in the final third before Woodburn is felled in the area.
71 minLiverpool are doing their best to rally, but Dortmund have dropped a bit deeper to nullify the change in tempo.
69 minBetter from Liverpool as Lewis wins the ball in midfield, but Brewster gives possession back to Dortmund when attempting to find Jones on the right.
67 minThe game has lost a bit of its tempo since the substitutions. Given that the temperatures are lower than they were when this game started, it isn't what was expected.
65 minLiverpool's front three is now Jones, Woodburn and Brewster. A sign of the distant future, perhaps? Woodburn, inparticular, needs to make an impression here.
63 minThe changes should at least mean that Liverpool do not suffer a heavy defeat, but Klopp will feel that it is important that his players finish the game on a high. They haven't got going since the restart.
61 minSUBSTITUTIONS! Straight after the goal, Klopp introduced at least eight substitutes, it may have been more. The likes of Van Dijk and Henderson are on the pitch.
GOAL!
58 minLiverpool are starting to unravel here. A mistake from Larouci leads to more danger down the right and once the ball is pulled back for Bruun Larsen, he has the relatively simple task of finding the bottom corner from 10 yards.
GOAL!
58 minBORUSSIA DORTMUND 3-1 LIVERPOOL (JACOB BRUUN LARSEN)
56 minLiverpool receive a further blow when Clyne picks up a knock from a challenge, although he looks fine to continue after some treatment.
GOAL!
53 minMignolet is helpless here, though. Hazard is found all on his own on the right-hand side of the penalty area, and the winger's low cross is turned in at the back post by Delaney. The Dane couldn't miss.
GOAL!
53 minBORUSSIA DORTMUND 2-1 LIVERPOOL (THOMAS DELANEY)
SHOT!
52 minMignolet keeps Liverpool on level terms for a second time. Wolf drives in-field from the left before seeing a well-struck effort tipped away by the goalkeeper.
50 minBoth teams have wasted no time in going onto the offensive. We have literally picked up where we left off before the break.
48 minOrigi controls the ball by the halfway line and looks like he is about to release Kent down the left. However, for some reason, the Belgian decides to hold up play.
KICKOFF:
46 minDortmund get us back underway. The German side have made eight alterations. Liverpool have made none.
2.09amThe two teams are making their way back out onto the pitch. We will do our best to keep you up-to-date with all of the substitutions.
2.06amLiverpool will be action once again in less than 48 hours time, with Sevilla their options in Boston. That game may mean a lighter workload for some of the squad this evening.
1.57amThe half-time whistle goes in Indiana and we go into the break on level terms. Alcacer opened the scoring as early as the third minute, but Liverpool deservedly got back level through Wilson. It's been an excellent half of football, especially given the quality of the pitch and the heat.
HALF TIME:
CHANCE!
45+1 minDortmund should regain their lead. A long ball from Hummels picks out the run of Gotze, who has plenty of time to fire the ball past Mignolet. However, the goalkeeper stays big to divert the ball behind the near post.
45 minThere will be two minutes of added-on time.
44 minWe should probably add that we have had a couple of bookings. Hummels and Larouci have both been punished for late tackles.
42 minI can't speak highly enough of Kent and Wilson. They have just combined again, this time with the former failing to round Hitz when looking to get a shot away.
40 minJust the five minutes to go now. Both clubs have plenty of substitutes available to them, so expect a few alterations at the break.
38 minThe Premier League side deserve that goal. They have been excellent since conceding that sloppy opener. Klopp must surely be thinking about including Kent and Wilson in his first-team squad for the upcoming campaign.
GOAL!
35 minLiverpool are back on level terms and it's a fine equaliser. A pass from Fabinho is intended for Kent, but the winger allows it to run through to Wilson. The Welshman only needs a touch before slotting the ball into the bottom corner from 12 yards out.
GOAL!
35 minBORUSSIA DORTMUND 1-1 LIVERPOOL (HARRY WILSON)
33 minWe are back underway. I'm assuming the two minutes will be added on at the end of the first half.
31 minIt is time for a water break. Oxlade-Chamberlain is sweating profusely. Part of his Liverpool shirt has turned a different colour!
29 minKent has been very lively on the left-hand side, and the winger has just delivered a superb low cross which deceived everyone. Klopp will be impressed so far.
SHOT!
27 minClyne and Milner link up down the right before teeing up Origi, but the Belgian can only get a weak effort away from 20 yards out, which is comfortably dealt with by Hitz.
25 minDortmund are back on the ball, and have resorted to taking the patient approach. They probably want to mix things up but equally, a breather is also required.
23 minA Liverpool attack breaks down, and it immediately leads to Guerreiro flying past three players to launch a counter. Dortmund have five on four, but Liverpool just about survive.
21 minIt is also worth noting that it is extremely hot in Indiana, while the pitch is not playing consistently with it having been recently relaid. Nevertheless, the attacking play has been full of quality.
19 minI certainly don't see this match ending with just the one goal. Both teams aren't placing much focus on defending at this stage!
CHANCE!
17 minYet another chance for Liverpool, this time for Wilson. Milner's pass over the top of the backline found Wilson, but Hitz came out well to stop the Welshman lobbing him from the edge of the area.
16 minDortmund have finally got their foot back on the ball, but that spell comes to an end when a long raking pass goes straight out for a throw-in.
14 minOxlade-Chamberlain is playing with a real spring in his step. The midfielder has been the star of the show during the opening stages of this game.
12 minLiverpool have settled into this encounter now, but Dortmund remain dangerous going forward. Alcacer is playing on the shoulders of the last defenders.
CHANCE!
10 minA lightning break should end with a Liverpool goal, but Hitz comes to the rescue. Oxlade-Chamberlain bursts forward before attempting to find Origi, although the ball goes all the way through to the back post for Kent. However, the youngster sees a scuffed effort clawed away by the goalkeeper.
8 minThere is a real high pace to this contest. It feels like a competitive fixture, rather than a pre-season friendly. Lots of players are keen to impress.
CHANCE!
6 minKlopp will be furious with that goal, but Liverpool are at least going straight back onto the front foot. A corner from the right finds Matip, but the Cameroonian heads marginally wide from 12 yards.
GOAL!
3 minThis is diabolical defending. Liverpool had been fortunate about 30 seconds earlier, but not so here. A cross from the byline is not cleared by Clyne and despite the best effort of a couple of defenders, Alcacer is able to fire the ball into the top corner from eight yards out.
GOAL!
3 minBORUSSIA DORTMUND 1-0 LIVERPOOL (PACO ALCACER)
2 minThe Premier League giants go straight onto the front foot, forcing Dortmund onto the defensive. Nothing comes from the first attack, but it is a show of intent.
KICKOFF:
1 minLiverpool get us underway in Indiana!
1.06amWe have had a bit of a delay for the national anthem of the United States, but we should be getting underway very shortly.
12.59amBORUSSIA DORTMUND XI: Hitz; Guerreiro, Hummels, Toprak, Piszczek, Weigl, Brandt, Reyna, Sancho, Gotze, Alcacer
LIVERPOOL XI: Mignolet; Clyne, Matip, Gomez, Larouci; Fabinho, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Wilson, Kent, Origi
