Liverpool injury, suspension list vs. Manchester City

Liverpool will be looking to book their spot in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup when they take on Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday night.

The Reds were last in competitive action on November 12, recording a 3-1 victory over Southampton in the Premier League, which left them in sixth position in the table.

Jurgen Klopp's side advanced to the last-16 stage of this competition, meanwhile, courtesy of a penalty-shootout win over Derby County following a goalless draw.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Man City in the League Cup.

Luis Diaz was recently forced to undergo surgery on a knee injury, and the Colombia international is not expected to be back on the field until March.

Arthur, who is on loan at Liverpool from Juventus, underwent surgery on a thigh injury at the start of October, and the Brazilian is still on the sidelines for the Reds.
