Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Fulham

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's injury and suspension news ahead of their EFL Cup semi-final second leg with Fulham on Wednesday.

With ninety minutes separating them from a place in the EFL Cup final, Liverpool travel south to tackle Fulham in the second leg of their semi-final on Wednesday night.

The Reds produced one of their trademark comebacks to triumph 2-1 in the opening Anfield encounter, where Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo responded to a Willian opener.

Still chasing a quartet of trophies this term, Jurgen Klopp's men opened up a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table on Sunday, easing to a 4-0 victory over Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their second leg with Fulham, who will tackle either Chelsea next month should they overturn their one-goal deficit.

Curtis Jones

Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: January 24 (vs. Fulham)

Curtis Jones - whose deflected strike began the Liverpool comeback in the first leg - was hauled off against Bournemouth in the dying embers with a hamstring complaint, although Klopp played down his substitution as a precautionary one, so there is hope that he will be fine to tackle the Cottagers here.
