Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren is a doubt for his side's Europa League clash with Augsburg due to illness, while Martin Skrtel, Joe Allen and Adam Lallana remain out.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Dejan Lovren is a doubt for Thursday's Europa League clash with Augsburg due to illness.
Lovren has missed the Reds' last three matches as a result of injury, but returned to training this week before being struck with the illness ahead of the last-32 second leg at Anfield.
Should the Croatian fail to recover in time then he would join fellow centre-back Martin Skrtel on the sidelines, while Joe Allen and Adam Lallana have also both been ruled out of the match.
"Dejan Lovren was one day in training, now he is ill. Joe Allen and Adam Lallana are not available," Klopp told reporters.
Liverpool welcome Augsburg to Anfield with the tie currently locked at 0-0 following a stalemate at the WWK Arena last week.
