Liverpool striker Luis Diaz steps up his rehabilitation from a knee injury to take part in training during the club's warm-weather training cup in Dubai.

Liverpool striker Luis Diaz has returned to training following a spell on the sidelines.

The 25-year-old has been out of action since picking up a knee injury in Liverpool's 3-2 Premier League defeat to Arsenal on October 9.

However, Diaz stepped up his rehabilitation when he took part in training during the club's warm-weather camp in Dubai.

After an underwhelming start to the Premier League season, where Liverpool won six of their 14 Premier League games, Jurgen Klopp is believed to be using the time in Dubai as a second pre-season for the players not currently involved at the 2022 World Cup.

Liverpool are also set to face French side Lyon and Serie A champions AC Milan in the Dubai Super Cup over the next 10 days.

They will then turn their attention to an EFL Cup tie against Manchester City on December 22, before they return to Premier League action with an away meeting with Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
