Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

Liverpool injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

The next stop on Liverpool's road to a possible first title in 30 years takes them to Dean Court, where they face an out-of-form Bournemouth side on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds made it 43 points from the 45 on offer with a thumping 5-2 win over Everton in the Merseyside derby on Wednesday night and will be favourites to continue their remarkable form against a Bournemouth team that has now lost their last four games.

Jurgen Klopp was even able to rest the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Jordan Henderson against the Toffees, and crucially came through the match with no fresh fitness concerns.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up their latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.

Fabinho

Status: Out Type of injury: Ankle Possible return date: Unknown

Liverpool are set to be without key midfielder Fabinho until next year after he sustained ankle ligament damage against Napoli earlier this month.

Joel Matip

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Joel Matip continues to be hampered by a troublesome knee injury, which has limited him to only one appearance since September. Setbacks in his recovery mean that no date has been put on his possible return.

Nathaniel Clyne

Status: Out Type of injury: Knee Possible return date: Unknown

Nathaniel Clyne is yet to feature at all this season after picking up a serious knee injury during the summer and a return will not happen until the new year.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no suspensions for this match, with goalkeeper Alisson Becker available to return after serving his one-match ban.
