Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk has suffered an apparent injury in the FA Cup final against Chelsea this afternoon.
The centre-back played the full 90 minutes at Wembley, but did not re-emerge for extra time after normal time ended goalless.
Van Dijk was replaced by Joel Matip, raising concerns over the Dutchman's fitness just two weeks before the Champions League final against Real Madrid.
Liverpool also have two crucial matches in the Premier League next week, facing Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers as they bid to chase down Manchester City at the top of the table.
Van Dijk's departure was Liverpool's second injury blow of the final, having seen Mohamed Salah forced off in the first half.
The Reds will now assess both players ahead of their return to action away to Southampton on Tuesday.
Jurgen Klopp's side then end their domestic campaign at home to Wolves on Sunday, before making the trip to Paris for the Champions League final on May 28.
