Liverpool will reportedly be without Dejan Lovren for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich.
The Reds head into Tuesday evening's match at Anfield already without Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez, who are suspended and injured respectively.
Lovren has also been considered a major doubt for the game as he has been carrying a hamstring injury sustained in the 2-1 FA Cup loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 7, seeing him miss their last five matches.
The Mirror reports that the Croatia international has still not trained with his teammates and, despite the injury clearing up, he will not be risked by Jurgen Klopp in midweek.
Joel Matip is certain to start in the heart of defence against Bayern, with the versatile Fabinho the most likely option to join him.
Bayern will also be without a key player on Tuesday, as German forward Thomas Muller is suspended for both legs.
