Wednesday's Champions League predictions including Atletico Madrid vs. Man City

Atletico vs. Man City (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

Atletico Madrid will be looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit when Manchester City make the journey to the Wanda Metropolitano for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday evening.

A Kevin De Bruyne strike put Pep Guardiola's men in control at the Etihad, and a semi-final with either Real Madrid or Chelsea now awaits the victor of the two-legged tie.

We say: Atletico Madrid 1-2 Manchester City (Man City win 3-1 on aggregate)

There can be none of the same from Atletico if they are to stand a chance of progressing this week, with Simeone seemingly forced to adopt a gung-ho approach after restricting the Citizens to just the one goal last week.

Liverpool vs. Benfica (Wednesday, 8.00pm)

With one foot already firmly in the semi-finals of the Champions League, Liverpool welcome Benfica to Anfield for the second leg of their quarter-final tie on Wednesday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side claimed a dominant 3-1 win in the first leg at the Estadio da Luz and are aiming to set up a clash with either Bayern Munich or Villarreal in the final four.

We say: Liverpool 2-1 Benfica (Liverpool win 5-2 on aggregate)

While Benfica always possess a goal threat with Nunez going forward and simply need to go all-out attack to stand a chance of making the semi-finals, a Liverpool side with no injuries and plenty of attacking options of their own should prove too strong once again.
