Lille have tightened their grip on third spot in the Ligue 1 table with a comfortable 4-0 win at home to Valenciennes.
The hosts were dominant from the first whistle, and Rio Mavuba should have done better when he put his shot wide after 12 minutes.
However, they took the lead minutes later when the much-coveted Eden Hazard found the bottom corner from inside the area.
Hazard again went close on 30 minutes before Florent Balmont had his effort saved.
Lille doubled their lead just before the hour in fortunate circumstances when Benjamin Angoua put through his own net.
It was 3-0 with 20 minutes to play thanks to Aurelien Chedjou's header from Hazard's cross.
Hazard was again the provider in the 84th minute when his inviting cross was nodded in by Tulio De Melo.
