Herve Renard: "We weren't clinical enough"

Herve Renard says that his side must be more "clinical" after their 1-0 loss to Reims.

Lille boss Herve Renard has lamented his side's lack of ruthlessness following their 1-0 loss to Reims.

David N'Gog scored the only goal of the game to condemn Renard's side to their second loss of the season, and the Lille manager has said that his side must be more clinical after only finding the back of the net twice in the league so far.

"We needed to make our really good start to the game count," Renard is quoted as saying by Ligue1.com.

"We weren't clinical enough. That's not just the case on the night, it's been true since the start of the season.

"We weren't aggressive or committed enough and it's a team problem which we need to sort out."

No side have scored fewer goals than Lille in Ligue 1 so far this season.
