Half-Time Report: No goals between Leyton Orient, Peterborough United

Leyton Orient and Peterborough United remain level following a goalless first half in the second leg of their League One playoff.

Leyton Orient and Peterborough United have headed into the break level following a goalless first half at the Matchroom Stadium in the second leg of their League One playoff.

The first shot of the night fell to the home side, as Kevin Lisbie tried an overhead kick from close range, but his finish went just wide of the post.

Lisbie continued to threaten early on, linking up with David Mooney, who tried a volley from 20 yards out but could not find the target.

The hosts carried on creating chances throughout the opening spell, with Dean Cox looking for Lisbie again in the 23rd minute, but the striker's header went over.

Britt Assombalonga tried to find the opening goal of the match for the visitors towards the end of the opening 45 minutes, but his strike finished well high of the crossbar.

Lloyd James came close to opening the scoring just before the break, but his 30-yard drive was stopped by Robert Olejnik in the Peterborough goal.

The first leg of the tie finished 1-1, meaning that extra time would be needed this evening if neither side scores in the second half.
