Leicester City's Yohan Benalouane heading back to Italy?

Yohan Benalouane could reportedly return to Serie A in January, despite the fact that he only joined Leicester City in the summer.

The centre-back has struggled to make an impact at the King Power Stadium since his arrival from Atalanta, having made just four Premier League appearances as a substitute.

According to Sky Sports News, that has alerted Sampdoria head coach Vincenzo Montella, who is eager to bolster his defensive options next month.

As well as Atalanta, former France Under-21 international Benalouane has spent time in Italy with Cesena and Parma.
