Report: Leicester City close to Gokhan Inler signing

Leicester City are reportedly close to completing the signing of Napoli midfielder Gokhan Inler.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a switch to the King Power Stadium as a replacement for Esteban Cambiasso, who left the Foxes earlier this summer after one season.

It has been suggested that several sides have been chasing the Switzerland international, including Schalke 04.

According to the Leicester Mercury, Inler has passed a medical and agreed personal terms ahead of a £5m move to Leicester.

Inler has made 155 appearances for Napoli.
