Glasgow Rangers have turned down a £6.5m offer from Leicester City for striker Nikica Jelavic, the Scottish club have confirmed.
Leicester manager Sven Goran Eriksson turned his attentions to the 26-year-old Croatian international having previously failed with bids for Emile Heskey, Nicky Maynard and Shane Long.
Reports have suggested that the Foxes are not prepared to increase their offer for the former Rapid Vienna forward.
