Liam Moore signs new Leicester City deal

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has revealed he is delighted that defender Liam Moore has committed his immediate future to the club.

The 19-year-old has featured in six of the club's eight Championship matches this season and Pearson has been impressed with how Moore has made the transition from youth team graduate to first-team regular.

Pearson said: "He has shown a great deal of maturity since being regularly involved with the first-team squad.

"He still has plenty to learn, but I am delighted to have him as part of our long-term plans."

Leicester play host to Hull City on Sunday.
