Mackail-Smith lines up Leicester City move

Craig Mackail-Smith is expected to close a move to Leicester City shortly.

Peterborough United have agreed a £3m bid for the striker, who will engage in talks to complete a transfer to Sven-Goran Eriksson’s club.

Norwich City, Queen’s Park Rangers and Brighton had all made approaches for the Scottish international but none have come to fruition.

The 27-year-old scored 35 goals in 55 appearances last season.
