Leicester City have reportedly planned a move for former Liverpool midfielder Luis Alberto in the upcoming January transfer window.
The Spaniard, who spent three years at Anfield between 2013 and 2016, departed permanently for Lazio after making just nine first-team appearances.
He has since earned praise in the Italian top flight, making over 180 appearances for I Biancocelesti and registering 36 goals and 51 assists, drawing in reported interest from across Europe.
According to Fichajes, Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, who signed Alberto as Liverpool boss in 2013, is interested in bringing the 28-year-old back to the Premier League as a part of his Foxes squad, with the Midlands outfit considering an offer.
The Spanish midfielder has featured in each of Lazio's six Serie A games so far this season, hitting a goal and contributing three assists as they have collected 11 points.
